Dancing is an activity that many people do in their free time at home, in a club or at a party. But the dance can also be an activity that requires a lot of work and dedication. There are professional dancers who live their entire life doing this: dancing. They learn day and night, pay attention to their diet and compete with other dancers in competitions or festivals.

Ballrooms Are Not Out of Fashion

Ballroom Dancing is not new, and it is known in one form or another ever since the Middle Ages when people went to balls and danced different styles. No matter how much fun one has when dancing there are also people for whom dancing also means  technique and hours and hours of hard work. There are a lot of dance of schools in the world that prepare dancers from childhood. Some may include competitive dancing in the sports category since the training of a dancer is very similar to that of someone who does sport. The number of dancers who like to participate in competitions is not small, and this way of dancing is widespread.


There are various categories of dances, each of which contains some of the most known dancing styles that competitors have to dance in a competition. Specialized juries carefully watch their movements, their acting and their attitude from the time of the dance so that they can give them grades. The costumes used in such competitions are spectacular, both those of men and those of women and they have to meet some standards imposed by the international committees.
